Wanted: Friendly, efficient and dynamic Office Manager

We require an Office Manager at RJP. It’s a front of house position and includes welcoming clients into our funky premises.  The role also involves supervising 2 members of staff and ensuring there is a happy and helpful atmosphere in the office at all times.

What the job involves - key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring smooth running of our office at all times
  • Client relationship management: initial client contact and managing the front of house area
  • HR administration
  • Undertaking monthly billing, credit control and banking activities
  • Marketing activities
  • Health and safety management
  • Facilities management
  • General ongoing office administration.

 

Required professional skills:

  • Experience in an office management role
  • Managerial skills and experience of managing a small team
  • Organisational skills - good time management and an ability to meet deadlines
  • Training capabilities
  • Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Previous knowledge of Sage software would be ideal but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills – good telephone manner and interpersonal skills.

  • Approachable, tactful, assertive when needed and always enthusiastic
  • Confident and dependable with a high attention to detail
  • Highly self motivated with an ability to motivate others
  • Discrete with high levels of integrity
  • Trustworthy and always respectful of client confidentiality
